If you are anything like me then volunteering and mission trips are the greatest thing in the world to you and if that is the case this site is one you may want to check on now and then. I have been blessed to have traveled to many foreign countries with mission groups since early 1998 to Cuba, The Amazon Jungle in 2000 and the list goes on. Not being a person who was gifted in the field of Medicine, Construction or Theology, I searched for my niche in the world of philanthropy during this time to discover how God could use me and then came the birth of The Mission Calendar. The Mission Calendar is a non-profit corporation that supports volunteer and mission activity at home and abroad. Our goals are to raise awareness by reporting news and events of mission and volunteer projects around the world. We also feature stories on our website of people who have participated in these life changing trips to encourage and inspire others. The Mission Calendar fund-raises for volunteer/mission operations by organizing events & activities to raise money for projects such as construction, medical teams, orphanages, traveling missionaries and much more. The Mission Calendar is also able to help other groups with their charitable aspirations by planning & organizing their volunteer/mission projects.
