Imagine a beautiful summer evening camping in the South…roasting marshmallows and hotdogs around a crackling fire underneath a sky full of stars, and as you walk to your tent with your handy flashlight, these bugs begin to buzz and whine around your head. Whoa! You’d be running for the hills, wouldn’t you?
On May 31st 2009 The Mission Calendar Inc. visited The Southern Asian Church’s health and community fair. Great food, entertainment, and interesting booths from local businesses and organizations maintained a lively and exciting time throughout the whole day. The Mission Calendar inc. was on hand to share with the community information on future mission trip/ Volunteer opportunities and raise awareness in regards to service as a volunteer. We also raised money with an i pod raffle that many generous donors participated in to aid us in our organizing of future Mission/ Volunteer Projects.

Sunday December 7th we will be holding our first benefit Concert to aid the operations in Honduras for 2009 and the Hogar de Niños Childrens home. Great bands such as Jakob's night and Sky Solo will be headlining the event! Come have an amazing time with friends, food will be served after the show and you can also take some time to learn about going on future mission trips and or how you can help.
